Mustard 'Purple Frills' has fine curly leaves of a beautiful dark purple color and a spicy taste. It can be eaten by both young and adults.
Mustard has been grown and eaten in the Himalayan region of India for over 5,000 years. Mustard greens are also part of the daily meal in many other countries and can be prepared just like spinach and other leafy greens.
It is well resistant. Sowing in summer means that you can eat leaf mustard in autumn and winter. Sown in early summer, the plants will still bud easily, but will then produce beautiful, edible yellow flowers.
